roster just came out and i just found out that they roster me a HKG turnaround on the 3rd of November...*point to the sidebar*...that's when i'm 'suppose' to be in KL!

angry coz my last roster actually stopped on the 4th and there werent any flight rostered on the 3rd so i happily thinking that maybe...just maybe rostering in being nice for the first time and decided to give me extra off days...so i happily went and buy my ticket back to KL...

and now i'm going back KL on the 1st with my Cuzzie...and have to be back the next day...and not forgetting...i still gotta change my flight itinenary because of that...dunno how much it is this time...

and u know what's the best part is...besides the lousy HKG turnaround and the Shitney that follows right after...this is actually one of the BEST roster i ever had in my flying career...

think...Frankfurt, Melbourne, Zurich, 2 short turnarounds and Frankfurt-NewYork!

that's definitely one of the BEST roster ever...

and guess wat...i've just enrolled myself in my A2.1 German course and the classes is on every Monday or Saturday...and with my BEST roster here...i could only attend 3 pathetic classes...

WTF!

just when i needed off days to be in Singapore...rostering decided to give me such good roster...

but because this is a money vs knowledge issue here...money definitely wins over knowledge this time...

been spending money like crazy with holiday after holiday...its depressing to look at my account balance now...so ya...gonna work my ass off for the next few months and earn more moolah before settling down to concentrate in my German...next term...gonna call them tomorrow and asked them to defer me to the next term...

the legendary A380 Hong Kong turnaround that i've manage to change away before...but got call up again this month...

talking about you can run....but you can't hide...

the legendary A380 Hong Kong flight that i always hated and always tell my colleagues that if i ever do that flight...i'll roll down the staircase during the flight...just to show company that it's a freaking crazy idea to put us on a Hong Kong turnaround with a total working time of 12 hours and 25 minutes...excluding time to wake up and preparations...AND without any rest period!

AND with the most annoying and demanding passenger profile onboard!!

One Night in Bangkok

gonna skip Bali first and go straight to Bangkok!

Bangkok is LOVE!!

u won't believe what i went thru just to be there for less than 36 hours...

what happened is that Fel n i bought the subload tickets (standby tickets for staff) and we totally forgot that its the long weekend in Singapore...so the nightmare began...all the flights to Bangkok on Singapore Airlines are FULL!!

so we went to Terminal 1 in Changi Airport and start looking for all the other budget airlines to Bangkok...and yes...its also FULL!!

determined to go for a holiday NO MATTER WHAT...we start asking for flights to Hong Kong and Taipei...and yes...its also FULL!!

like wtf!!

what H1N1...what recession...

everyone in Singapore seems to be travelling le!!

its ur country's National Day le!! why can't u all stay in Singapore and celebrate!!!

so in the end...on the verge of giving up...we walked to the Thai Airways counter...and voila...we walked away with 2 tickets to Bangkok...and SGD660 poorer...

and mind u...we only have 2 days off...but we were so desperatw for another holiday we decided we'll just go with it...plus...we alredi have our hotel booked and the tickets on way back with AirAsia in hand...din wanna waste it rite...*excuses*

its embarrassing...but it's actually our first time traveling on Thai Airways...so we were pretty excited bout it...

we fell in love with their seats...its so comfortable...and its very colourful!!


even the meal seems yummier!!

was glad that the whole drama thing is over...and i'm all geared up to SHOP!!

BUT....drama is NOT OVER YET...just yet...reached the airport and i realized that the email i printed out for my hotel reservation do not have the address of the hotel...

FML!

so i start calling the hotel....numerous times...but no pick up!!

luckily the tourist information people were very helpful...they helped me to call...though nobody picked up again...

in the end...one of the kind souls there used the internet and looked up the address for us...

thank god for kind souls like them we manage to get the address....

despite the little cockup there... i must say i LOVE the hotel...is uber cheap...and its damn pretty inside...very artsy fartsy!!

and the rest of the day were spent shopping in Platinum Mall...and more shopping at Central World...AND MORE shopping at Suan Lum Market...

end the day with a torturous 2 hours massage at Suan Lum Market at 12 midnight...it was torturous coz the place was super dirty...with mosquitoes flying around everywhere...

but we were too tired to find other massage parlour...and we were *again* desperate for a massage so we just go with it....with lotsa regret after that...

anyway...the next day was spent in Chatukchak Market...the MAIN HIGHLIGHT of the whole trip!!

first time to this legendary shopping heaven...and i can't wait to go again!!!

the place was a heaven!

so many things to see...and BUY!!

i love the paintings....especially the one on the bottom left picture...the colourful ones in the middle...with green pink n yellow background....its so pretty i feel in love with it...but because i'll be traveling on AirAsia on the way back and my cargo bag is on the verge of bursting open anytime...i have no choice but to let it go....


and now..looking at the picture...i regret it!!!

the sellers so cute..putting accesories on the puppies' head...make them look so adorable le!

eg: the top right picture...all the puppies have tiny princess crowns on their heads...and the bottom right picture...she has on the most adorable bow headgear!!

so after 4 hours of shopping marathon in Chatukchak we ran off for to Central World for another round of shopping before rushing back to the hotel to get our bags and rush off to the airport...

we were so rush we had to eat our lunch in the cab...

and that's the end of our less than 36 hours holiday in Bangkok....a super short and rush trip... definately a memorable trip for us....

10 dresses...2 cardigans...3 tees...7 necklaces...10 bangles...2 headbands...

and 2 HUGE bags to put in ALL my shoppings...



i went there with only one pair of pajamas...and after a night...i came back with a 22 KGs cargo bag and a 5 KGs hand carry luggage...
